All members are expected to focus on our core values, to be mindful of our rights and responsibilities, to strive to develop the whole person and to encourage the pursuit of excellence in a safe, positive, caring and challenging environment.  At the same time, we are sensitive to the needs of the diverse peoples of the nation.

In our belief in the fundamental value of each individual we are committed to the following core values: truth, respect, self-discipline, honesty, courtesy, integrity, tolerance, love, non-aggression, kindness, dignity, compassion, pride, a social and environmental conscience, wisdom, teamwork, diligence, curiosity and leadership.

LEARNING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE is the mission of the Fish Hoek High School. To do this the School should be dynamic and effective.

2010 Matric Dance

By John Watermeyer | 05 Aug 2010

Saturday 17 July will live in the memories of many as a very happy occassion. The settings were splendid, the matrics chic and elegant.

The reception was held at the School in the early evening, as usual, but with an added element. In addition to the crowd of rubber-neckers outside, there was an audience in the Hepworth Hall. The matrics trod the catwalk for their parents on the way in and out of the reception. This form of the Matric Fashion Show was well-recieved.

The dance itself was the dream that is only possible at Kelvin Grove. It was an enchanting evening.

A few pictures are in our gallery. Clich here please.
