Parent Association

FHHS PARENTS ASSOCIATION

The Parents Association at FHHS is unlike any other school Parent Association  because every parent is part of the Parents Association!

Our AIM is:

-           “Fun raising” amongst parents and staff by having “Crazy Quiz and Bingo Evenings”

-           Supporting the Board of Governors and SRC (Student Representative Council)

-           Having a forum where ones voice can be heard.

-           Assisting if ever asked or needed.

-           Making parents feel part of the school and comfortable enough to use their open door policy

-           Informing the parents of happenings...(if we have your UPDATED e-mails)

-           Recycling headed by Karen Gray-Kilfoil.

It is important to be part of your teenagers schooling. The parents Association is the platform which allows this to happen.

We meet when needed.

-           All communication is via e-mail.

-           An e-mail request is made and you respond accordingly. For example whenever we have an activity, I put a call out for donations of prizes or help. Prizes can be anything from a chocolate bar to “white elephant gifts” sitting in your cupboards collecting dust.

-           If no-one responds, expect the phone to ring!
